About Torben Chris:
When Torben Chris chose
the teaching profession to become a stand-up comedian, the Danish
primary school became somewhat poorer. On the other hand, the speed
knob delivers first class teaching as he walks to the microphone and
airs his Jutland morale. The syllabus consists of a trip around
Denmark, and the numbers fall on everything from people at SU across
the corridors of Christiansborg to the life of their boyfriend.
Nothing is sacred, and should it be, Torben Chris likes to cross the
line in a fun and charming way. So funny that he has become a solid
and loved figure on Zulu. So charming that he has now married the
girlfriend!
In autumn 2011 Torben Chris could be experienced
in the popular stand-up show "Men's Room" together with Thomas
Hartmann on a totally sold out Comedy ZOO. The show is on YouSee and
DVD. The great success meant that the two comedians in the fall of
2013 had to come out with "Men's Room 2", once again for an
enthusiastic audience all over the country. In 2014 Torben was also
on Comedy Aid. In the spring of 2015, Torben Chris presented his
long-lasting first and notorious! - one man show "JYDELOGIK",
resulting in sold out sales around the country.
Torben could
be experienced in the 3rd round of the show "Men's Room", again
together with Thomas Hartmann until February 2017.
